Express Entry Update: 500 Healthcare and Social Services Professionals invited to Apply for Permanent Residency

June 4, 2025 – In a continued effort to strengthen Canada’s healthcare system and social support services, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued 500 invitations to apply for permanent residency under the Express Entry system.

This latest draw, held on June 4, 2025 , specifically targeted candidates working in healthcare and social services occupations (Category-Based Selection – Version 2). Applicants needed a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of at least 504 to receive an invitation.

This draw highlights Canada’s continued prioritization of essential workers and its commitment to addressing critical labour shortages in the healthcare and social assistance sectors.
